We're leading a swimwear revolution from the bottom up.
Sheila was born in 2022 after its founder went searching high and low for a pair of luxe, sustainable, and versatile swim shorts.
Wading through a sea of narrow sizing and less-than-thoughtful designs, she took it upon herself to create something new.
Designed for every body type, Sheila swim shorts are crafted for confidence, so you feel free to move, swim, surf, brunch, hike and go—wherever the day takes you.
The founder was looking for a visual identity that would make a splash in the crowded swimwear market and embody the brand’s values of (true) inclusivity, female empowerment and swimwear that’s made for living.
VISUAL IDENTITY
We’re drawing a line in the sand and making comfort and style the norm.
Sheila’s word marque is striking and memorable. Thick, bold letters stand strong on their own and reflect the confident and fearless Sheila woman. The line through the centre is symbolic of the brand’s fresh approach to active swimwear.
Utilising vibrant colours, bold typography, and striking imagery, I was able to effectively communicate the brand's spirited personality and empowering message.
Extending the identity across packaging, social, and a customised website, the end result was a visual identity that embodied the playful, strong Sheila spirit. I’m thrilled to have contributed to a brand that champions inclusivity and making waves.

The goal was to create a website design that felt like a luxury brand, offered a seamless shopping experience, and effectively showcased Sheila's swim range.
Drawing inspiration from renowned luxury brands, I implemented a clean, refined aesthetic using considered typography layouts that created a high-fashion, editorial look. By incorporating ample white space around elements, a clean and uncluttered layout was achieved that exudes a sense of refinement and modernity. Large imagery plays a pivotal role in the design approach to showcase Sheila's range, capture the product quality, and emphasise the Sheila spirit.
Additionally, the website design incorporates intuitive navigation and a seamless shopping experience. We ensured that the layout and structure of the website were user-friendly, allowing visitors to easily browse through the swimwear collection, select their desired items, and complete their purchase seamlessly.
